The Education Committee works with Chamber staff to identify opportunities for the Chamber and Chamber members to partner with local and regional education institutions on workforce development opportunities. Education Committee also looks for opportunities for the Chamber to host educational forums that help educate business leaders and the business community at large on the issues confronting our schools and available solutions.
The Education Committee recommends education policy for consideration to the Executive Committee and the General Board.

Seminar focus is to provide training on the Application of Leadership. This intensive leadership training program will prepare individuals for positions of responsibility in the future. Leadership curriculum covers training on the essentials of being a leader, and participants will learn from guest speakers representing various organizations and businesses. The seminars help to empower the 20s to 40s age group, youth, executives, and entry-level professionals for key positions of leadership within the community by providing the critical skills sets required of leaders to make a positive and constructive difference in our community. The career training and competition festival is a two day event that immerges youth in a dynamic learning experience and competition process designed to help Permian Basin youth on the path of becoming more successful through education and knowledge acquisition. This program has been proven to provide youth with substantive and positive alternatives for life preparation while at the same time helping our youth acquire critical thinking and life learning skills essential for success. Training and materials provided in-kind by CGM Consultants.
We ask for your help through business or private donations of $100, $200, $300, $400 or what you wish to help us deliver this important project to the youth through educational scholarships.
